  • Explore the current concepts in the etiology and epidemiology of Parkinson’s disease
  • Discuss the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and emerging concepts to assist with the diagnostic process
  • Compare and contrast the treatment options for early Parkinson’s disease
  • Evaluate the medical therapies for managing motor fluctuations and dyskinesia in Parkinson’s disease
  • Compare and contrast the “on demand” therapies and discuss when and how they should be used
  • Identify the non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and evaluate treatment options
  • Discuss the use of deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia
  • Evaluate the use of focused ultrasound for the treatment of essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease
  • Review the diagnosis and treatment of essential tremor, dystonia, chorea, and drug-induced movement disorders.
